You Can Make a Difference
VEWS relies solely on the kindness of individuals like you to fund the cost of rescuing horses in need. We would not be able to rescue even one horse without the support and generosity of our donors and volunteers.
100% of all donations are used for rescuing, rehabilitating and eventually rehoming horses.

Roughly 70% of our annual operating expenses are covered by donations; our volunteers host fundraising events to cover the balance. The majority of our donations are used specifically for covering the cost of shelter, medical care and feed for the horses.
Without your generosity, we would not be able to help horses in need!

Sponsorship Program
Sponsoring a horse is an opportunity to make a personal difference. The majority of our rescue horses need extra care, from specific nutrition needs to frequent veterinary care and special farrier services. Maintaining that care for these horses through rehabilitation can be an expensive and significant undertaking.
