Dixie

Dixie is ready for a forever home as a trail horse or pleasure riding mount.  This beautiful mare had her right eye removed several years ago and has adjusted well. She does appreciate, of course, handlers who let her know when they are approaching or working on that side.  Dixie will thrive in a home with her own person and a routine. She stands quietly for tacking and mounting and waits until you are ready to go. She willingly walks and trots under saddle around our obstacle course. She will move out when asked and has a lovely, balanced trot. Dixie is aware of her surroundings but is not fazed by cats running under foot, plastic bags floating by and other sorts of commotion .  Dixie is not a fan of grooming but a confident handler can get it done.
