Sonny is a very cute TB gelding, who is with our partners at Equine Welfare Society. Sonny was born into a breeding program that became a neglect situation. Sonny, along with many other horses from this program, was seized by Animal Control and placed with a rescue. Later, Sonny was taken in by Rapidan Equine Sanctuary. He has had time to grow and mature at RES, and now, old enough to be started under saddle, he transferred to VEWS, with his saddle training being accomplished by EWS. Whew! That's a lot for a young guy but Sonny is resilient, smart, healthy, and sound. Stay tuned for his training updates. Please note once available for adoption, Sonny will be shown at EWS in Keswick.
