Daisy, a Paint mare, was pulled from a kill pen and then given to us from another rescue. She spent some time at our training barn, was adopted out
from VEWS, and then shortly returned to us. Having tested positive for EPM, she was treated at VEWS. In order to provide an environment with consistent handling, one of our volunteers sponsored her at a foster barn where she could receive that
one-on-one attention. Of course, that volunteer fell in love with her and adopted her shortly thereafter.

Adopted March 2021

Buddha was a 16 y.o. flea-bitten gray OTTB mare. After Buddha came off of the track, she spent a short period of time as a broodmare, and eventually found herself with arthritis in a PA kill pen. Buddha and Cache were adopted out together as companion horses.

Oriana arrived with 2 other Saddlebred mares from a kill pen in North Carolina ill and emaciated. Oriana is a sweet and intelligent mare. Her beautiful golden eyes are aware of everything happening around her. Approach her with gentleness and consistency and she will share her heart with you. Oriana and Penny were adopted together to a loving home.

Cache was a 19 y.o. bay OTTB mare. Cache spent some time as a broodmare after coming off of the track and eventually ended up at Moore’s auction.
